The “Culbuto” armchair is an iconic piece imagined in the early 1970s by Marc Held, designer pioneer of new forms. This rocking armchair with special curves is a symbol of the pop culture of the time: explosive colors and a great deal of significant creative freedom from the late 60s.
Marc Held's desire was to create an armchair that was aesthetic and above all, that was comfortable. The Culbuto consists of a high-back armchair, a low-back seat and an ottoman. Its structure is in white lacquered polyester reinforced with fiberglass, covered with leather.
Although its success was limited to its release, this piece has today become a real rare and highly sought-after museum piece.
